Our legal basis for processing
Health information is "special category data" under UK GDPR. This is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, given via the consent form completed ahead of your first appointment, and because it is necessary for the provision of healthcare. Contact and booking information is processed to fulfil our contract with you when you book an appointment.
Where your information is stored
Clinical notes and booking details are stored securely in Cliniko, a specialist practice management platform used by healthcare providers. This website does not itself collect or store your personal or health information — booking and forms are handled directly through Cliniko.
How long we keep your information
Clinical records are generally retained for a minimum of eight years following your last appointment, in line with common practice for healthcare records in the UK. If you would like more detail on our specific retention practice, please get in touch.
Who we share information with
Your information is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. It may be shared with other healthcare professionals only with your consent, or where necessary for your care, such as a referral. Cliniko acts as a data processor on our behalf.
Cookies and this website
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed.
